I just can't wait

A good friend of mine, who introduced me to this forum, recently assumed the lease for a 6MT Melbourne Red E93 and had it shipped across the country. He gave me the key and encouraged me to take it for a spin. After a short ride around the neighborhood, with a smile from ear to ear, I turned and told him that I had to have one.

A week and a half later I assumed the lease for an Interlagos Blue DCT E92 and I am now waiting for it to be transported cross-country - the suspense is killing me. I have been having dreams about driving this car. While driving in my Honda, I find myself telling my fiance how much faster/better/smoother/more exciting the drive would be in the M3.

Simply put, I can't wait. I have been checking the transport company's website every 20 minutes hoping the truck driver would just drive faster.

I figured I would write my inaugural post and share a picture of the car with the promise for more to come once I finally get it home.

Ah.... very nice... enjoy the ride... I cant stop driving mine and have had it for almost a year

lovely car. I got to wait until june for mine. have fun while others wait in anticipation...the wait is killing me...im sure its doing the same for you.

It's a great car & I have fallen in love with it once more when I put my summer tires on last weekend!!

Thanks for all the congratulatory notes.

I just called the transport company - It looks like I will have to wait until late next week to get the car. Unfortunately it is enroute to TX (from Los Angeles) by rail, after which it will be loaded on a truck to get to NJ, where I can finally pick it up.

Next weekend is going to be a lot of fun. As the title suggests, I just can't wait.

I will be sure to write with all my impressions of the vehicle. Giggity

Hope the trucker is a very fast driver but is also very SAFE too!

UPDATE: My car is in Dallas waiting to be loaded on a truck for the trip to NJ. New ETA - Monday April 5.
