Half Mile Top Speed Challenge on Runway

Hey guys just saw where the runway event that got postponed is back on in Carrabelle, FL. It's about an hour south of Tallahassee on the coast. They've lowered the price to only $85/per driver and set the date for July 30, 2011. Looks like you have to pre-pay online by July 23, 2011. Glad to see they made the price more realistic and they took the 50 car limit off. I'm in!! Here's the link www.wannagofast.com

Too long of a drive from South Florida to only be 0.5 miles. If it was 1-1..5 or even 2 miles I would make the trip

I hear ya. They are doing side by side though which I think is better than just doing a solo mile run. Plus there won't be anymore events in South FL anymore the county shut the mile event down. South FL is far from the panhandle though could be fun if you get a caravan going or something.

140 or 150. Heads up is the best part though. All the standing mile runs are solo only.

Saw where there's only 4 spots left now. If anyone is looking to register they have extended the deadline to July 27th to pay online. A few BMW's are registered on their Facebook page.

idk about the 150 mph in half a mile... At the last few mile run events there was a modded E92 running 144 in a full mile
