Finally, new trunk sub enclosure arrived

had this enclosure made for me, but the first time, it was made for an E60
so they re-did it and it arrived yesterday, colour match is pretty close
can't wait to try it, still have to install the grille for the sub
this goes up against the rear seats
so from the trunk you just see a flat surface
and the sub is on the other side, firing through the ski hatch
have a XD600/1 amp to power
should have 500w rms

front (facing rear seats)

back (facing rear of trunk, this is what you see when you open the trunk)

left side

right side (ordered a better quality terminal cup to replace this one)

well a few
i was dying to try the JL Audio 13TW5 sub
it's a 13.5" sub, and it's only 2.5" deep
and the best, tightest bass i have ever heard was from a sub mounted to the back of the ski hatch on an old E36
so i am hoping for similar results
plus i always prefer to do it my way

will post pics of my install when done

Definitely interested in how it works out. I am a huge JL fan and don't think I can live with just the standard bass of the enhanced premium audio.

Do you plan to make a DIY post?
