10mm spacer compatible with HRE wheels?

I have tried 10mm Macht Schnell and renn sport something(?) spacers and the bevel of the spacer is too large for the chamfer in the HRE wheel. Has anyone had success running 10mm spacers with HRE wheels?

With the spacers fully inserted into the wheel there is about a 4 piece of paper gap. I could file a bigger chamfer into the HRE wheels but I'd rather not.

I have tested Turner Motorsports 10mm spacers with HRE, BBS, Advan and OEM wheels and observed the same issue. I recommend either a 5mm spacer or 12.5mm spacer+.

That's crazy that they didn't even work with the OEM wheels. I will have to pull my OEM wheels out of storage and test them with the MS spacers.

Are people running these spacers even though they don't sit flush?

I've heard the chamfering can be an issue with 12mm spacers as well. Something about the 10mm/12mm length on certain OEM wheels leaves the thin "sheet of paper" sized gap.

Will going to 12.5mm+ actually correct this?

I have never had that problem with 12.5mm spacers and have never heard of anyone who has.
