Quick Look At The Last Baltimore Grand Prix

last season i took a trip to watch the Baltimore grand prix when i heard TUDOR was taking over the ALMS series...and unfortunately i was right and sounds like it was possibly the last grand prix Baltimore will ever have....these pics are just some raw non edited pics i took...most are not great but figure i would share them...

Great shots. I love the one of the Porsche catching air. Was that on the chicane near start/finish? IIRC that chicane was murder on those cars.

As I look at the pics I can't help but shed a tear. That's it for the Indy series or any city street racing in Baltimore for a while. Can't say I blame them with that monster chicane.

its really sad actually!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was pretty amazed how green and nice the course was!!!! it was really humid and i cant imagine the amount of money the race brought into the city!!!!!

watching the cars catch air was pretty amazing

True...I have no idea. I just know that because of football and baseball plus politics that they cancelled the event I think for the remaining two years. I don't know what will happen in the future but was upset because my son is just old enough to go now and just watching videos was excited to go! It will be hard to explain to the wife that we need to go to Long Beach to see the race on our own!

i go to the long beach grand prix every year.....in my opinion its worth the trip...the entire experience is amazing!!! atmosphere and the racing...

I'll be making the trip to VIR this year to watch the ALMS races (sorry I refuse to call it by whatever its called now). Not a street course like Baltimore, but easily one of the best tracks on the east coast

OP - nice pics! I loved having this race in my backyard and brings back some great memories

wow i thought i was the only one would rather call it ALMS.... i have to be honest i had a hard time getting into the rolex race i hope the rest of the races are better.. i was a die-hard ALMS fan!!!!!!!... I HATE HOW MUST OF THE COVERAGE IS ON THE DAYTONA PROTOTYPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
