I'm just more curious how you ran these in an e93. I don't see a roll cage, and it looks like it's anchored somewhere along the rear seat?

They are not factory originals. They do not have Airbags on the side like the originals!

Don't think its too fair to call them replicas when Recaro is the original manufacturer of the BMW Performance seats.

All BMW did was reach out to Recaro, chose the Sportster CS as the Performance seat and had Recaro make a custom seat cover for them.

Recaro Sportster CS seats come with optional airbags and seat heaters directly from Recaro.

The only difference between the BMW Performance seat and the Sportster CS is the BMW Covers and the fact that they come with the necessary sliders and seat mounts.

BTW - On my seats , its actually says Airbag on the airbag housing. Its hard to see from the pics if the Recaro is same - I dont think so.

Practically, its like buying a Rolex or want to be. They will both work fine. its only the feeling that you actually have the real thing....

Its the same seat my guy. It is physically impossible to call it a replica when Recaro is the manufacturer of the BMW Performance seat and the only difference is BMW had a custom seat cover made.

Actually off that logic, your seat is a replica too since they arent the original seat covers anyway. You are literally just selling a Recaro Sportster CS with custom seat covers.

At the end of the day these seats look really good. I like them and would probably buy them for my e46 if you were local.

Replica is the wrong word. Universal is the right word. These are real bmw licensed seats redone by ind.

The price isn't bad at all considering they are plug and play with mounts airbags heat and no coding required.

Universals without airbags with heat/mounts will run $4500-5k new. Someone will snap these up when the right buyer comes along.

He was saying how the ebay ones are replicas because the covers not original. So isn't it a fair comparison to say his are also replicas without the original seat covers? His covers being better or not is really subjective. Also, how many of us have blue stitching in our cars to match? I don't think that many.

The driver side seat covers looks pretty beat up by the airbag. You can tell he's trying to hide that in the pics when he's got the outside bolsters of both seats facing each other.
