I know of a dealer here in the Midwest with a very short list. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I spoke to Jim Mitchell of "Tom Bush Regency Motors" in Jacksonville Florida. He said he would do a MSRP for an M3. I bought my M3 (E46) from him. He did a great job and I am extremely pleased.

As a side note here guys, I went through this BS once before. The Southern California dealers, for the most part, will try to gouge you. There are a few with a MSRP policy, but those dealers wind up with long waiting lists as a result. Go out of state and get your car. I shipped my M3 from Florida for under $1000 through the dealership. With internet sales, Fedex mailings for contracts, and digital photos, I was totally satisfied with my purchase.

I have spoken to salesmen in Idaho Falls, Princeton New Jersey, Jacksonville Florida, etc. They want your business and will sell at MSRP for all vehicles including the M6 and the new M3. Invest a little time and save a bunch of money!

All I know is the dealer I talked to told me that the M3 would be around $72000! Now is that a markup or their thoughts on MSRP? What is the consensus on MSRP?

Yeah, I went to a dealer here in Northern California, and he said it's gonna be around 20K mark up, so first couple M3's should sell around 70-80K
as crazy as it sound but people are buying
I went to another dealer and he said his mark up would be around 5K, which is kinda reasonable, I would wait though till things cool down!
if anybody knows a dealer in Nor-Cal that would sell at MSRP pls let me know

Hey All...
I am a Client Advisor @ BMW North Scottsdale in Phoenix. We do not "Market Adjust" prices for our M Series. If you wanted to place a deposit to get your name in for an order... the car will sell equipped to your specs at MSRP.

If any of you have any questions about this policy or the car... please PM me.

Thanks!
Steve
