No i was just referring to his Sig, it says he has Stage 3 RPI exhaust. Where does the stage 3 come from? Not tryin to be a smart ass here, well maybe just a little bit..

It was a mistake in my Sig File. Thanks for the catch. It should say:

"Section 3".

People are used to calling is sec 3 but we only sell the exhaust in 2 parts. Front pipes with x/h and the axle back. So, if we want to get technical, the mufflers are technically be called sec 4. lol

What's up bro? I don't have any Dyno's "yet". But plan on getting them from RPI when they have their next DYNO DAY.

We did some DB tests last night. I have the test on video but it doesnt want to upload right now for some reason. The test was done at about 20" from the exhaust tip at a 45 degree angle. In nuetral, revved to 7500rpm, the db is 112. At 4900rpm its 97-98db. At 6000rpm its hovering at the 100db range.

You know what? LMAO,.I posted on the wrong thread. The above post was supposed to go on zpost for our z4m exhaust.

Yeah, I am sure Eloy can post the numbers but it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter. The stock muffler is ridiculously heavy. Even more impressive are the front and midpipes - the four cats and two resonators are much heavier than you would think, so RPis straight pipes weight a fraction of stock.

Man, you got me excited on this upgrade. I just moved from Pasadena to Alhambra and hope to hear your exhaust sometime.

Also, since it's just muffler, these have no issues with smog checks right?

You are 100% correct, Jay. All exhausts drone on these cars; even my AA with noise cancelling chambers drones under light acceleration between 1700-2300 rpms. I'm intrigued to see how my car will sound once the Gintani is installed on Saturday .
