Common sense really.
The only problem with your logic is that anyone who buys a 335 over an M3 doesn't have common sense.

I think the 335 is a fantastic car, but the only reason someone would get the 335 over the M3 is economics, or lack thereof.
Show me someone who can comfortably afford both, but still get the 335. And if they do, I'd like to hear a rationale explanation...

I heard God invented the 335 to keep drivers who didn't know any better out of M3's.

yet another gay thread about the 335 from another gay M3 owner

i swear you only see so many insecure fucks on an M3 board. they constantly need to put down other cars, even the ones that are from the same family, just to justify their purchase.

grow up or go

No, purchasing a 335i and keeping it stock is the logical thing to do, that was the common sense I was talking about.

They are different cars, design by the manufacturer for a different purposes.

I didn't see why there is so many threads comparing the two cars. It's laughable and childish to believe that all of millions of development work done by BMW making the M3 can be achieved with a few mods on a 335i.

It's a great car the 335i, one of the best in the sector but it's not an M3 beater.

OK HERES THE THING. First of all i just got my 08 M3 2 weeks ago i had a 335i before that for about 6 months ... i just have 1 thing to say to everyone who talks about 335i vs M3 .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......
No matter what u do to the 335i it will always be a 335i , and the M3 will always be A M3. .THE END.
So ironic that you would start a thread trying to end the debate, only for it to turn into another one of those threads you're lashing out against...

A little insecure maybe? Truth hurts doesn't it?
Being able to "comfortably" afford either does not make one rich by any means. And it's not a matter of being able to afford it or not, but being able to "comfortably" afford it. I can go get a 599 GTB, but it sure as hell won't be "comfortable".
It still comes down to a matter of economics.

As far as turbo vs. NA, most car enthusiasts that I know prefer the normally aspirated engine; unless planning aftermarket mods. GT3 or TT?

And, Yes, I've gotten over myself a long time ago...

Are you ready for my rationale explanation

I didn't want to wait for the release of the m3 and pay markups so I bought a 335 instead

btw, I want to thank you for lowering my IQ with you post
