Looking for MSI Studs

Any ideas where I can find MSI studs?

No availability at Turner, ECS or Bimmerworld.

What's up, Benjamin!

I always run those studs as I've broken other studs a couple of times after I started running sticky tires like DHs.

Kelsey just broke one when we were at ECR a couple of weeks ago. She's going to the full Core4 hubs with MSI press-in studs. I may do that if I have problems again. Check them out including their philosophy to torque studs to 90 ft/lbs at https://www.core4motorsports.com

My current MSI studs have lasted 18 months and 23 track days so I think I'm overdue. I remove and retorque the wheels four times per track day since I change out the pads before I head to the track then once at the track then reverse that process. That's a lot of stress.

Hit me up for a member day at ECR this month.

My car is still in the body shop, but I was there to spectate the NASA event all 3 days.

I'd love to go the 20th but will be at MSRH that weekend instead.

Member day/SRD. Getting some coaching with Scott to prep for the January NASA season opener since I've never driven it before.

If we want to add the F80 hubs + 14MM press in studs, is it better to do Future Classic's kit and send to Core4 or have Core4 source them? It seems like the FC route gets you all the additional hardware plus the rust coating but they only have screw in studs, so seems like my only option is to send the FC kit to Core4 if I want 14mm press in + F80 hub?

Core4 sells the f80 hubs, just call and ask.

Tom had my Future Classic F80 hubs and converted them to pressed in.

After that you can buy F80 hubs with pressed in studs from Tom, and screw in studs F80 hubs from Future Classic.

Both options have pros and cons.

For a lightly tracked car, Future classic would be easier to replace the studs and for the rear is a more practical option

For heavily tracked car a front Core4 F80 hubs would be better.

Both companies offer outstanding customer support.

Curious what makes you say the FC rear is more practical? Also, press in studs are pretty easy to replace. I wouldn't characterize them as any more challenging than a screw in.
