well, i have auto club, sonoma, and laguna seca (in that order). think a fresh set of nt01's can make it? i'm not a drifter, but i scrub a little bit at auto club and the rears take a beating. i can't find a decent set of take-offs on craigslist.

Here are the pics of my ruined fender liners..... Should I replace it? or just put electrical tape over the wires???? It does see some wet track days.

I also found out since I was pretty low, my coilovers was rubbing on the sidewall! I think it was probably on when I was on loading the suspension at the track because on the street I didn't hit it rub except over big bumps.

^^^ the after pic... when I raised it 1.25" looks like I have better clearance now. Im 275/35/18 squared on 18x10.5 et21 rims. I have a track event on next month and I hope the rubbing issue is solved. On the street rides much better, with no rubbing!

Chamba - I replaced mine when they got torn up (although they were not anywhere near as bad as yours!). Its a pretty easy job, but you will have to cut a section of the liner unless you want to take your front suspension apart FYI.

5mm spacer looks to be in order. Toss the tire.

Can't tell if the tire pic is with the car in the air or not but that sway bar link looks mis-aligned a bit. Car must be in the air...

It's not only water that's a worry with the wheel arch liners. Airflow gets messed up in there too. Minor issue, but if you need one more thing to push you to change them, well there ya go!

Only other thing is I think you need more stickers on the rear quarter window. .1sec reduction in lap time per sticker unless required by series or you're getting compensated. Nobody gets a free ride.

This, but with one caveat. You don't want to be rear heavy. Get some more on the front to balance out the back. Just like aero, you don't want too much on one axle.

Strong post. +5 points for technical merit alone!

Lol. Also don't forget that certain stickers have less drag than others so you need to take that into account as well

Wanting to hit the track this weekend with NASA but noooooo, gotta work all weekend

Curious if anyone has considered driving with nomex flight gloves?

They seem to combine the best of both worlds, leather bottoms for grip/sensitivity and nomex on top for fire resistance.

I have a set of extremely nice nomex driving gloves but find they are a bit too thick for my DCT paddles and for steering wheel feedback, looking for another option.

After reading mixed reviews on the quality of flight gloves and also considering just picking up a set of golf gloves, I decided I should try one more made for the purpose option first.

I just ordered a set of OMP First EVO gloves off Amazon, if they don't work out I figure they'll be fairly easy to return at least.
