Yeah, that T3 curb is dangerous. If you are lucky you spin into the infield. If unlucky, you get so unbalanced you run wide and into the tires outside.

I always tell students to avoid it like the plague. Besides, even in your car (as setup, without coil-overs and warm tires), you can take 3 flat out with maybe a tiny lift over the transition from concrete to asphalt.

I'm to the floor through 3 and even have to shift just after I apex (that 4.10 rear diff life, yo).

*Stupid question* what happens to auto seat belt arm activation once fixed backs are in? You've got me thinking about all these little details now, but very important ones @ that. Thanks Apex
Your choice; you can leave in place or code out. I personally find those things useless and deleted them completely. The whole arm, motors, control unit, etc It saves a few lbs. I dremeled the end piece off the arm (the part of arm that is visible when retracted) and glued it do the inside of the side panel. It looks OEM and the opening is filled - despite the fact that everything is deleted behind it.
Should post some pictures of that. Would be interested to see

There were no other warning lights that came on, no other weird indicators. I'm looking over my AIM data and it had max oil temps at 263, so not horrible. The AIM data is bad for the water temps... they say 404.4 all session every session :-/

Any ideas or have you experienced this before?
Yeah your sensor is bad - 404 is just the implausible temp reading, so your car will pull RPMS/timing and be ultra-safe.

Lockton wouldn't let me put the second day (Im signed up for a full Friday and Saturday was $150 extra for two sessions between road races) and was $338 for the one day. A second driver (wife) was free.
RLI allows me to specifically denote two days and would cover a second person for free, was $266

Both total value $46,000 with modifications and a 10% deductible.

Weird thing about the Lockton pricing was that it listed a $296 policy and then $40 in various taxes and fees. RLI was just "$266 please". 15% deductible with RLI would be $236. Wasn't available with Lockton.
RLI is painless to use when you need it, BTW.

I will say having to enter all your info every time is super annoying, and my only beef really with RLI. It sucks, because you need to list every mod separately that you want covered - if you don't list it, you're only going to get compensated for the OEM value of that part. (Oil cooler/radiator, etc).

Just got these using Hilton points and gift cards bought with airline miles from Amazon. The spoils of traveling all of the damned time!!!

Proform wireless 7k lb scales. Low profile so you can technically drive up on them but I'm not convinced that is a great idea.

I need to get my PS sorted on my E46 and then I'll give it a try.

No, no, no! Already have two track cars in the garage. Need to keep the E92 as is. Though I do want to drop it a little and add a S/C. But after I get other car items crossed off the list, including:

1. E46 BBK, ducting, maybe some aero
2. Race seats + harnesses for the Miata
3. New Daily for the wife
4. F430

Then we can talk about throwing more money at the E92

Speaking of ducting, my perfectly installed Hard MS brake ducting kit ate itself this weekend.

4 track days and 6 autocrosses and the plastic pieces have slowly cracked and then once they begin to fail and get closer to the tires/wheels, the moving tires do the rest.

An interesting aside. Until she gets back out on the track with an instructor, my wife is strangely happy to daily a compromised car. I don't understand why she seems to enjoy short gears, darty street handling, extra noise, and uncomfortable ride, but she seems to enjoy daily-ing it more every time I take away some of the luxury. I'm aware that this is strange. I don't even like to drive the M3 on the street much. She could drive a 991 or a big Lexus instead and keeps driving the M3 (and asking how soon we can put coilovers on).

Now that I've written that, I'm sorta suspicious.

Do any of you consider an SS (or ZL1) 1LE as often as I do?

I've instructed in a heavily modified SS. Camaro visibility is just horrendous. And, (and this is a HUGE factor), you can't fit a helmet through the window.

Seriously. In the SS I had (not sure the exact year, think it was a 2016 or 2017), you could not fit either of our helmets through the window opening. Now imagine you've binned it, the car is on fire, and you can't open the door.

Fuck that.

Oh, that was you. One of the pit marshals came up to me asking if I lost a brake duct. Nope. Are you missing one? LOL.

Chevy will sell you a $250k race-prepped car for GT classes like World Challenge (you heard them a few weeks ago... nothing else was as loud). I wonder how they deal with that.

I'm considering it for the knowledge, but it doesn't rain much over here. Might do it anyways because I just like to listen.

That's a bummer about the hard Motorsport ducts. Seems like they are going crazy with a 3D printer and not taking longevity or quality into consideration.
