Sure, they currently only offer 3 cars new (I guess 2 since the Senna is sold out). But some of the recent models (and I wager if you see any in the wild they will all *look* new):
MP4-12C/12C, Spider 540C/560C Coupe 570S 600LT 650S Coupe, Spider 675LT Coupe, Spider, HS 720S P1 and GTR variant Senna What is that, 15 distinct models? If you are not a current/prospective owner of one (or a McLaren fan boy) , I would bet many car enthusiasts would be hard pressed to name which model is which if they saw one in passing. They would know it's a McLaren though. I think that contributes to the sentiment that all McLarens look the same (one that I've heard before). |

Do you say is that a 911 or a Cayman ever? Counting model variations is facetious because if you aren't interested in McLarens, why would you care? |

All Porsches depreciate just as hard or worse except the GT3 and RS's. I have had them all. TTS is around $200K or so, you will lose $50K day 1.

Ferrari has changed, you can now walk in and order any car except an 812 or Pista. Give it a year and will get the 812 as well. Dealers are now required to carry demos.... Times have changed.

This thing makes most modern sports cars and super cars look like real porkers.
It bet it’s a fun drive for sure. The sound doesn’t really seem to be there. That exhaust has to look cool in the rear view when it backfires. |

Really cool to see the positive comments here! I work at McLaren Corporate (also a die hard M car enthusiast).

Would 100% take this over a GT3 RS. Difference is I'd be willing to buy the RS new (willing, probably not able), vs. the McLaren I'd wait a year or two and reap the benefits of some other poor soul's depreciation.

I've always wondered this with my motorcycle that has an open upward pointing exhaust. I have not had any problems with the rain. However, i am not sure how it is designed to allow the water to drain. I assume it can't have any drain holes due to sound/emissions considerations. I did some research and apparently some exhausts have a small drain hole and other exhaust just blast the water out when you start the engine.

I'd love one, but apparently, they are already all spoken for.
