For those of u wondering who gintani is, there known more for the work they use to do on minis. They have always worked on bimmers as well but now they are moving away from minis and concentrating on bimmers. They got some real nice products coming out for the m3s. I also spoke to alex about doing the rest of the exhaust piping n he is most likely gonna prototype it on my car, cant wait.

Any drone/resonance, and if so, how bad and at what RPM?

Do they ship to Canada?

I asked this question and no one answered. I'm curious what kind of tone it has. If it doesn't have a Mustang GT sound to it, then what? Ferrari perhaps?

There is a slight drone from 2000-2500 RPM, but ive noticed that many M3 exhaust systems have a drone. The drone is not bad. Im pretty sure they will ship to Canada, give them a call. 818-787-8260 ask for alex and tell him Raz sent you. Their really cool guys, easy to talk to and handle.

I wouldn't say like a Ferrari because unfortunately only a Ferrari can sound like a Ferrari. lol but I would say it leans more towards the Ferrari sound. It has a deep tuned v8 sound with a nice pitch in it. Its hard to explain but it sounds like a v8 M3 should sound. Ive only had it for 5 days and Ive gotten several compliments already. I have 3 friends with e90 m3s. One has the Magnaflow prototype system and the other 2 were looking into getting Eisenmann exhaust. After they heard mine they all want to get the Gintani system. Im getting it dynoed this saturday so ill post up charts and videos.

I have been looking for a e90 exhaust for a while and just spoke to Alex at Gintani. He sounds like a legit guy, even invited me to go to his shop one Saturday and check out his set up. I will be heading down there soon to check out he exhaust in person

def. come down on Saturday, ill b dynoing my car and when u hear the exhaust in person u will b sold. N u can check out his shop, its got some expensive machinery.

On a side note, I just got back from an audi meet and received several compliments for my exhaust. N take in consideration these guys have rs4's & s4's with exhaust systems. Those r some of the sickest sounding v8's.

yes, i did. My car dynoed at 347whp with only the exhaust system installed. This is on a dyno dynamics which for those who know about dynos, know that these read the lowest numbers, so i was very impressed.

Im sure that on a dyno jet or mustang dyno I would b at atleast 380whp.
I wil be starting a new thread with all the info, video, pictures of the dyno etc.

Its only the rear section as of now but i will also be getting the mid section and 300 cell race cats. The sound is amazing. Here are some pics of my car. I also have videos to and am currently waiting for them to upload. I will post them when they are ready. Sorry my car is a bit dirty. NEW PICTURES ON BOTTOM OF PG 1
Do you have before/after dyno? If yes then what was the results? Same day before/after dyno? Thx!

Also, which exhaust manufacturer (Borla, Magnaflow, Remus, etc.) are the mufflers? Is this louder than an Eisenmann Race & Remus Race?

They showed me his dyno sheet and he gained 16 hp to the wheels. I did 347whp with only the Gintani exhaust.

Thx for the info. Yeah, I gave him a call on Monday & talked about it. He says his is louder than both Remus Race & Eisenmann Race since he has heard both in person. I've heard the Eisenmann Race in person & while it does sound nice, I want something that's a tad louder as well as a bit more high-pitched which he claims his is. At this point for me, I'm torn between Gintani & Freiheit but leaning towards Gintani due to it being ~$1200 less expensive.

Wow thats sick I would like that on my E90!!!!
