Dct Paddles upgrade , great mod!!!!

So I order this new steering wheel Paddles from eBay (great and cheap seller)
This is the second set that I'm ordering from him since I have the first set on my 335

So I ordered the grey color Paddles
to match my black interior and carbon leather trim

I have the v2 steering wheel with blue stripe and I want to upgrade the new Paddles

I took color fan chart from shop that makes spray colors by order, looking for color that match the blue stripe
The closest one - Renault 426 blue-
5 min and 12 usd for new spray can ready
I wanted to spray only the + -
so i taped the Paddles and i leave the + - area without the tape
spray them and then carefully clean the outer area

Nicely done.

As an aside, how do you like that steering wheel? I see that Tischer BMW has it on sale right now and am wondering if it's worth the extra money, especially for a DD. I love the way it looks but have not tried one out in person yet. Would you pay for it if given the choice, or is the factory wheel just as good?

Paddles**

I was so confused lol. Those paddles look awesome! Very sharp and aggressive. I love the blue accent you did.

Just search for BMW DCT paddle. There's a bunch of sellers who have them.

Killer setup and very nice attention to detail!
How was the install? PnP or trimming required?
Is this the same set?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E46-M3-C...6b5c0a&vxp=mtr

Thanks!

The last pic posted makes it seem like the paddle is one design and then flipped over to use on the other side. The left does not look like the right (bevels and depth).. is this how it is in reality or is it a weird photo??

One more question, sorry, the link Shredicus posted is for an e46 set - are the interchangeable? Looking at pix, e9x sets look slightly different.

They are different for the tactile difference, so your fingers know which is upshift and which is downshift.

Oh boy. Not even sure where to go with that. After a month of use, I never even look at which is which and they feel identical. Ok, pass on these then. Thanks for the heads up.
