My routine is ordering kit from FCP Euro,

when shipment arrives...

Get a 6 pack of beer...

Drive to my Buddys shop..

Hand him the 6 pack...

Borrow his lift for a quick oil change...following everyones steps from previous post.

I Built these my self, they are made I stainless steel. It's easy to crawl under the car for a oil change and the car is levelled.

If you have only one jack but can get some sections of plank, you can change the oil. You can make ramps out of 2x12 plank to get the car up a little. Or just jack on wheel at a time and put 2 short sections of plank underneath. Do same for all 4 wheels. You need to get the car just high enough for your oil drain pan wonít be crushed when you lower the car. Then jack up one front side or the center enough for you to remove the two drain plugs. Lower back to level and let it drain. Then put the plugs back in and refill.

I did stuff like this years ago. I can also remember parking with one side on a curb so I needed to raise only one side. Eventually I got 4 jack stands, ramps, multiple jacks and then lifts. Had a lift for past 10 years.

Be smart. Donít go under the car unless you are certain it is secure. If you have a couple of spare wheels, push them under. Or salvage some old timber if you can find it.

After you drain the oil, you need to unbolt and disconnect the oil cooler because there's a lot more in there than the little bit you are worried about by not getting it level.

While you are at it, bolt the chassis on a rotisserie and flip it upside down to get whatever amount that getting it level didnt get.
