Unhappy Need tuner in the DFW area

I recently took my '09 E90 M3 to a dealer for the driver's side airbag recall. Before I could tell my service rep NOT to re flash the ECU, the technician in the back hooked up my car and started a reflesh that was also a recall on it. long story short; my car had been tuned at the time it had an Akrapovic evo exhaust system installed (the tune, among other thing, prevented the "increased emmitions" fault from being triggered). Now I NEED a performance tuner that can re-tune my car. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and have no clue who can do this without ripping me off. Anybody has a suggestion? Thanks

Why not remote tune it with Mike benvo at BPM Motorsport out of California ?? His tune is very well reputed . I think he sends u the tuning cable and sends the tune file electronically ... check out his website ... pretty good info there... also ... where in the DFW area r u ?? I'm around the Plano/frisco area

I'll check it out. I like the idea of a tuner where I can get a baseline of the car and see the end results of the tune. The car has 102K mile in and did a pull avarage of 344hp and 261fpt at the wheel prior of the factory re flash. There is a cat delete accessory from akrapovic ($425) but only takes care of the increased emission fault. The tune will take care of that and optimize a few other things thanks for the info. I'm by Alliance Airport be safe and thank you for your service!

I actually have the bpm tune on my car. I can meet up if you would like to go for a ride. Pretty standard stuff though.

I dont know anyone in DFW that actually tunes these cars real time on a dyno. There are shops that can install a flash tune, and there are dyno shops, but I don't know of any around here that are both. I'd be interested if you do find one.

I just did the BPM ECU and DCT tune in my garage myself. Super simple and easy stuff, upgraded to the latest BMW software too. Car runs great with test pipes.

Doubt you'll find somewhere that does the M3 tune and dyno but if you do, let us know!
