Anyone in Raleigh NC want to help me w/ a DIY?
Hey all, looking for some experienced M3 DIY folks. I'd like to install a set of lowering springs (maybe full c/o's but wouldn't mind having someone w/ experience look over my shoulder. Anyone in the Raleigh area turn their own wrenches?

Do you have a spring compressor? You'll need one to remove the springs from the front strut. I think you can rent one from auto zone. Just be careful as those things do slip and the spring ends up going airborne.

yep I think that's what I'll do is go borrow one from Autozone. I've done suspension on older VW's and Audi's but this is a "nice" car lol. I don't want to send a spring flying into the fender or anywhere else lol
