What happens on the back track at the Performance Center?

I've been to the Performance Center several times for deliveries, M School and some other driving events, but have never done anything on that back course (top of the pic) with the long straight away. Anyone know what they do back there? And does anyone know how long those straight aways are?

In the early days of the Performance Center (around the early 2000s) I seem to recall the back loop road (track) you're referring too was used by the Manufacturing Plant Quality Control teams for rattle and squeak testing, as well as ride, drift/pull, and noise testing. I think it still maybe being used for such tests and others too. It's rare to see a car on it. That being said the Greer, SC BMW Plant is now the biggest BMW plant in the world. So I'm guessing after all the plant additions, the majority of manufacturing quality control stuff has probably been figured out by now.. Hope this helps.

There's some fun enduro loops there for the motorcycle school. I did the two day off-road performance school and it was a game changer for me.

All manufactured vehicles across OEMs will go through a short spin in squeak / rattle tracks and its a part of manufacturing end of the line check. Looks like they might have built another new track right next to the plant.
