I have many friends that in the past bought M's and all told me they were sent to the BMW school, all expenses paid...
I asked my sales guy and he wasn't sure... any of you know the deal on that? how do you get signed up? who to contact? is this even true?? thanks! btw, if any of you have gone, how was it? worth the time??

I just got my M3 2 weeks ago. I asked the same question and was told that it was only for the M5's. I decided to call BMW driving school to pay for it myself and go anyways. The lady asked me when I purchased my car and suprisingly she said that if you purchased your car between September and December of 08 that the school is complimentary including hotel and transportation. You only have to take care of the airfare. I gave her my info and the next day I received the email with the registration papers. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the deal now is that if you bought/leased a leftover 2008, you get the one-day M School. When I got my E39 M5, I got the two-day "M5 Driving Experience". It was a great time, and I learned a lot, too. There's no question that I'll figure out a way to get back down to SC to take advantage of the program for my M3. They treat you very nicely, and it's a blast. If you have the chance to do it, GO.
