It IS a shit car and the performance has NOTHING to do with that. Thats what you're missing. They are not built well, they do not sound good, the interiors are pretty cheap, they rattle, etc. For $80,000 you can do a whole lot better.

That's subjective. I've been in many and never had any issues, including ones beat to death at the performance center. So if you think they suck that's your prerogative, but not fact.

Im sorry thats not subjective. I owned two. Both rattled and had issues. Look at the forums littered with reports of the same. Thats real world experience.

Forums are filled with people who complain. I can only go by my personal experience and those of my close friends. Regardless, it's still a faster car. Sorry you've had trouble with yours.

You can say its faster car til you're blue in the face. You are missing the point. Faster != better. Period.

Ill go by 40000 miles real world experience and some track time over a weekend at the perf center and friends hearsay.

Yeah I'm passionate about it because of how bad it sucks and how much it ruined the M3 line in my eyes. When I move on from the E92M (again) it will be to a different brand. It being "shit" is subjective I agree with that but its my opinion and Ill stick to it.

More advanced tech
Better diff
Better chassis
Better seats
Better manual transmission
Better brakes

It sounds better
It has better steering 'feel'

When people conclude the f8x is 'shit', its complete hyperbole. I don't care if you've driven a million miles in one, calling any M3 'shit' is beyond subjective. Its clearly an excellent bit of kit. If you want to drive an actually shit car, buy a Mitsubishi Mirage.

I was driving the e90 and e92 this week, both with stock xpipes and catbacks and they are nice, but don't hold a candle to when either combo had a xpipe added!
