///M on the iDrive controller?

When I was searching for my M3 I saw a couple M3's had the ///M symbol on the iDrive circle controller thingy.

Is that aftermarket? BMW OEM part?

I cannot find a picture at the moment.

I denno. Seems kinda cheesy. However, while I was at bimmerfest I saw both decals and the hard emblems you get on ebay used on the iDrive knob. Both were equally cheesy.

yea this sounds over the top. it's like people that put the trunk emblem on their dash..

I was wondering if anyone on here fitted this iDrive Controller Upgrade Cover available from AVIN? Gives the controller knob an NBT-like appearance. Looks good and simple to fit. Just wondering about the quality.

Everything works. The knob cover is in aluminum which gives the knob more weight and feels more premium. The additional weight also fixed my stupid iDrive controller rattle for me. Definitely two thumbs up!
