Out of curiosity, is it possible or does anyone have experience disabling the reflector lights in the headlight housings right in the corners?

A few small cosmetic parts have come in. I have black side markers and grey turn signal bulbs (still flash oem orange) to put in and i installed some updated kidney grilles in! (Excuse the poor quality photos)... Currently switch jobs so parts have been coming in as quick as i'd like... That will change soon, so save the thread! |

I had a 5ft by 5ft (60 x 60) roll and it was plenty with a few mistakes where i had to cut out entirely new pieces. When i have time to take the center trim around the shifter and idrive knob out. I have just enough wrap to do that.

I never wanted to have to write or post this, but I suppose this is the end to the build thread. Hopefully a new one will be created soon... I just wanted to say that the car saved my life, it took the tree like a champ and SOMEHOW didnt roll...

Im okay. Slightly concussed, but glad it wasn't worse... I was comin around a corner to a deer in the middle of my lane. I dodged him but unfortunately over corrected and ended up sliding down in to the ditch sideways. Finally smacked a tree about 30 which brought me to a stop...The car is in rough shape, gonna have someone get the quarter panel, bumper, and trunk off to access structural frame damage. Except for the jacked up driver side rear wheel, mechanically speaking the car is okay, undercarriage and exhaust from the engine out looked ok. Engine bay looked fine and didnt look like it was shifted. So we're gonna see what insurance says and may get a really good body and paint shop to restore it...

Thank you. Hurt like a bitch and a bit concussed, but walked away. I still firmly believe any other car would have rolled, but the bimmer staid planted. and daaaamn don't tempt me! Haha once i get my insurance situation figured out (i may fix it depending how bad the frame was damaged) i will be in the market soon again! Hit me with that link so i can see it!?

Yea, we're gonna have an adjuster and a mechanic/body guy look at it, mechanically, besides the suspension in the left rear, the car is in good shape. Everything underneath survived with minimal damage, front end a passenger side are in good shape... But the damage in that corner is significant!
