Using Sonax Spray and Seal used to maintain a ceramic coated vehicle

Update:

Sonax Spray and Seal being used to maintain a ceramic coated vehicle.

Using Sonax Spray and Seal for maintenance on a coated Lamborghini Huracan

This Lamborghini Huracan was coated about 6 months ago with a ceramic coating, we wanted to test out the ability of the Sonax Spray and Seal and the effects of it over the coating. We are happy to report that it worked extremely well. Sonax Spray and Seal was compatible and showed no issues or side effects with the ceramic coating. We would recommend it as a maintenance product over your cars protected with ceramic coating.

I just used it this weekend and my god I love this stuff. Super easy to apply with minimum downtime. Crazy water beading action. Actually like this better than the Hydrosilex I tried.
I do have a question though. Can I put a wax over this or just use it as a standalone product? Detail spray in between washes ok?

Dumb question here, but why not just use the maintenance product by the company that makes the ceramic coating?

Just bought some. Did you spray the entire car at once then rinse, or did you spray and rinse in sections?

you can use this over a wax/sealant/coating.

you can also use it as a stand alone I have seen a strong 3 months out here on the northeast.

not a dumb question at all.
you can use the maintain products from the specific coating company if they have it.... however I know a lot of people that love trying different products from time to time.

it's like saying you have oem wheels already why BBS wheels .... just another option that might fit your needs better.

you can do sections or you can do the complete car.

in our shop environment we tend to spray and seal the complete car then rinse off thoroughly.

Thanks. The bottle just arrived at my door, so I'm anxious to try it this weekend.

If it’s hot outside or you’re in the sun. Apply the product in sections. Ask me how I know

I've used this now twice on the m3, i do garage my car at night but during the day it stays outside at work.

I'm VERY impressed by this and now am done with gloss and guard

only issue I have is maybe i just use too much but i use 2/3 a bottle per application (including wheels)

for matte paint I would go with Hydrosilex Recharge.
it works great on matte paint, matte vinyl, or gloss.

There are also matte specific products like Nanolex Matte Spray Sealant

or more of a touch up/detail spray Nanolex Final Finish

Just used Spray + Seal for the first time, and was blown away by the fact that this product actually works the way Sonax says it does.

I share your issue, Jeff. I used almost the entire bottle on my E92, with wheels, but could care less. If I use this once every 3-4 months, it's well worth the $25 I paid for the bottle.

yea the gloss and longevity is pretty awesome if you do the wash then store inside for the night.

I've layered the sonax for 3 consecutive car washes now(I know its overkill) but each time it seems like its more glossy and smoother.

I just bought this stuff for my E38 sport Ill be paint correcting this weekend. My plan is to do a one step correction with Chemical Guys VSS, not looking for perfection but bring back gloss and get rid of 70-80%+ of defects, then use Jetseal as the first layer of protection. Follow that by Reload as my "tougher" sealant. Then use Sonax spray and seal as my maintenance treatment adding to it. Not sure how it'll work but I figured this would be a great DIYer approach to using this quick, sprayable sealants. My E90 M3 will be getting full Xpel early next year so I may use this on top of that, who knows. Ill post my results here for sure
