New M3 owner - smog in San Diego

Hello folks,

I just recently picked up an e92 M3 and somehow kept ending up on this forum when searching for info. There seems to be a great community here and loads of helpful people.

Right now my car is on a Dinan tune, but I was hoping to get a supercharger and swap out the Dinan exhaust for an Akrapovic. Will the car still pass smog with the primary and secondary cats (I'm assuming any X-pipe will be an automatic fail).

Otherwise, does anyone have any smog shop recommendations? Feel free to PM me.

I think other people have stated in the past that a supercharger will automatically fail visual inspection and you can not pass.
