Fitting a Remus Sport on a E90 M3?

Hi all, is there anything unique needed to fit a Remus Sport on a E90 M sedan? I've been searching, and reading that the tips need to be cut, etc.

I dont want to get into anything expensive for installation and removal. I want a straightforward install that isnt expensive. And the ability to remove and re-sell when I'm done with my M3.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks!

Far as I know, you definitely need to cut a certain part of the exhaust in order to get that perfect fit and not have it stick out too much making it look silly.

Perhaps buying connecting pipes and cutting them to accommodate the exhaust?

For the E90 M3, you would need the connecting tubes along with the REMUS sport exhaust for a full bolt-on setup. However, you will have to cut off 1.5 inches from the tips so they do not stick out, which are single wall at the base so it's easy to cut. That is the only cutting that would need to be done if you get the connecting tubes with the exhaust. I hope this helps.

As far as a "need" basis, no, nothing special. I assume you have connecting pipes already, if not, you can get Remus ones, they make connecting pipes. It will fit with zero modification, guaranteed. I know, we put my E92 M3's Remus Race mufflers on my friend's E90 M3. However, the tips will stick out about an inch and a half, maybe about 3/4 of an inch to an inch if you have Vorsteiner diffuser. it's definitely noticeable. That's where all the "you need to re-weld the tips" comments came from: it's to correct the tip length.
