Seems like a great price for a 50k mile, fully loaded, manual e92. Plus it is a very desirable color combination. I doubt you will have much trouble selling it for your asking price, unless the accident was worse than you describe it.

not mentioned but salvage title NOTE: It has a salvaged title due to a small front mishap from the previous owner; the insurance company totaled the car for only a front bumper, headlight and some plastics. It has been repaired with all new BMW parts, car is perfect. |

Seems like an odd thing to omit in a vehicle listing post. Nice car but that title issue is not small.

But hey, each to it's own... As I was not planning to sell it, I looked no more. But plans change; and if it does not sell for the price advertised, I'll just find a place to store it and keep it! |

Your best bet will be to list it on Bring a Trailer, No Reserve. For some reason the bidders think nothing of bidding way above high retail. In most cases without ever having seen or driven the car.

Indeed. I was interested until I read about the title. Doesn't matter how nice the car is.
Fact of the matter-- salvage title cars are harder to sell. Not to mention many banks, credit unions, etc. won't finance a salvage titled car. I would also suggest BaT. You will get market correct pricing on BaT. M3s and M5s have been doing well lately. Manuals even more so. |

Salvage title has a huge impact on resale that’s a big deal to omit from the OP

Still shows on CL.... Sounds like the guy is a little butthurt....

And too not disclose this seems a bit sketchy, not to mention silly since surely it would show up on carfax. SMH I would also add that changing the title to "DELETE" is a neon invitation for additional curiosity. I would have been unlikely to visit this post otherwise. GLWS

I hope we have a resounding answer to, 'who gives a rat's ass' lol
On a separate note, is it me or has there been lots of post and delete activity lately? So many people trying to take advantage of the market forces without doing 5 mins of homework lol |

It also says "Rebuilt" and "collision" under it. I did not hide anything intentionally, I had the Carfax ready to go for any really interested parties. But everyone ran away and started accusing me when I mentioned it. Some trolls posted it after speaking to me... After I added the info, I got slapped by the hoards of kids here accusing me of trying to hide something, as if I could potentially hide the info on Carfax or Autocheck... I gave my vin to anyone really interested. Enough said. Over and out. I am really enjoying my car, not really selling anymore. |

craigslist ad is categorized as clean title but the seller states reconstructed title and is now clean?
How does that work? Assume carfax would still state salvaged? |
