I got mine from FCP Euro. You get a lifetime warranty as well.

I'd suggest FCP Euro due to the lifetime warranty that they provide. I received two separate orders from them within 1 week from the US. Prices are very competitive as well.

Thanks for the quick reply's guys, I am looking at the Vod (continental) ones, has anyone used these instead of Bmw ones? I believe they are made by the same place and bmw just puts their sticker on them.
Cheers

If you plan to keep your car for a long time, just go with Rebuild UK or Fcpeuro. Both offer lifetime warranty, and for a part as expensive as the throttle actuators, you definitely want that.

If you mean VDO, I think they are the same.
If you go the rebuild ones then you will need to post your old ones back.
You may need to pay a deposit which is returned when they receive your old actuators.

Hey I am on the FCP Euro website at the moment and I cant seem to find the actuator part with the warranty?
https://www.fcpeuro.com/Parts/?keywo...le%20actuators

THe VDO ones which OP mentioned earlier are basically OEM correct? So, are there actuators on FCP Euro with upgraded or repaird gearset plastics and the electric board?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's this one "BMW Throttle Body Actuator - Genuine BMW 13627838085"
If you select this item and then click on the "Warranty" tab, it tells you about
the lifetime warranty.

Redd makes some good points. I have been purchasing parts from FCP Euro for several years due to their lifetime warranty on all of the parts they sell. In regard to the actuators you have to weigh a few things being located in Australia. The OEM/VDO actuators being sold today are the same actuators that were originally made for the M5/6 E60's and M3 E90's. The technology used then is the same as today. Which means that the issues they have with the gears and boards have not been corrected. Therefore they are doomed to fail. If you are going to purchase an OEM actuator and you prefer new then you have to purchase from FCP euro as their warranty covers the units for their lifetime as long as you own the vehicle. However with FCP Euro the warranty is not transferable to a new owner if you sell the car. If you were to buy them from the dealer or another parts company they would only be covered for 2 years. Our actuators come with a lifetime transferable warranty rebuild-usa.com

Coming soon to an AUS location to cut down on shipping time and costs. An official vendor for known brand companies selling actuators, bolts, bearings, tunes and more. Website is under development.

Hey Johnny, I'm on with a gentleman down under right now trying to work out the details. It's $60 to ship back and forth from the UK to AUS. Having actuators and other parts in place will certainly save some time and money for you guys. It's good to see that you guys are watching this thread.
