Idle Control Valve?
Hello guys.
Today I have Check Engine light and limp mode. After restarting of engine the Check Engine light and limp mode appears again right after the starting. I read the error codes and I have the next: DME: 2B0D - Idle actuator monitoring, bank 1 2B57 - DME: Air-mass sensor, plausibility 2714 - Intake-manifold pressure sensor 2796 - Throttle: adaptation values incorrect DSC: 5E19 - CAN DME/DDE, engine torque not adjustable Does it mean that I should change the ICV? I need to be sure because ICV is so expensive. Is there a way to repair my ICV? Can I rinse or blow it? After when I deleted all error codes and started the engine - it worked fine. But I didn't drive my car after that today. Maybe it appears again. Thank you for any help. Last edited by RomanK; 02-05-2017 at 11:06 AM.. |

I have this too. But the car does not turn on, only if I unplug and plug the battery.
DSC: 5E19 - CAN DME/DDE, engine torque not adjustable What does this mean? |

I took of the manifold and my mechanic took a look at the idle control valve. Ended up that it was stucked somehow. He said that he cleaned it, and everything was back to normal. I don't understand much about this, but that was what my mechanic told me. Good luck man, hope you don't have to change it. |
