Thanks all - it was hard enough waiting for my spot. Now I have to wait for it to show up in OC, to be built and finally shipped....It will be worth the wait I am sure.

How long does it usually take to show up on the OC?

It took mine about 4 days or so I think, but I suspect it was an existing order that was modified for me.

Four days before OC even recognized your production number?

Yeah, something like that. My SA faxed me the official VIR report on the 28th of Jan with code 111, and it took a few days for me to be able to use the production number on OC. Actually, for 2 days even the people on the 800 service line knew nothing about it. This suggests there is a delay not only in the OC but maybe with the customer service info as well. It sounds like dealers have the ultimate ability to track your order/car down.

The 800 number people could see my name and the production number as of yesterday (the day the order went in). OC just keeps spitting me out as an "invalid production" number. Good to know that this means nothing of consequence.

I called the 800 number and the damn system was down for them. Call back in an hour, they say.

WCH, E, the first thing I did when I got my order in was to log onto OC and then call the 800 number to make sure my order was indeed real, too! Yours will show where you want them to show up sometime next week. Don't worry!
