WTB 2013 E92 with LOW MILES and specific SPECS

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hello BMW friends,

I'm on the market for my new garage queen, cash in hand.
Does not need to be "concours" grade, but I'm definitely looking for a babied car.
Definitely not interested in one that spent its life at the racetrack.

This will be a 2013 coupe with less than 30k miles, no mods except for cosmetic in good taste (carbon add-ons, black OEM wheels and M Performance exhaust are welcome).

I don't mind the number of previous owners, on condition they were enthusiasts.
The bigger the number of previous owners, the more complete service history should be available.
If there is damage and/or paint work, it must be minor and well documented.

Strict prerequisites:
PPI at a service place of my choice and cost, of course near the location of the car.
Never smoked in
White or Fire Orange exterior
Black or grey leather interior
Carbon roof (must be impeccable, as they are too difficult to repair)
DCT
Competition package
In case it is not obvious yet, the seller must be happy to answer questions and provide info.

If you have one with the above specs, that you'd be happy to part with, and your price is not stratospheric, please let me know.

Thank you, drive safe and enjoy

I wish I were more flexible, then I wouldn't have sold the Space gray with Palladium Silver / Black Black I just did.

Now patiently looking for the right one. If James Taylor is right and there were 5,700 E92 exported to the US, there is hope!

Not sure where the 5700 number is coming from. I am going by these numbers which show 15,799 total E92's sent to NA. Not sure about 2013 in particular.

Not to humble brag but I was looking for your exact specs and was able to find my one owner 2013 DCT Comp Mineral White with 26k miles. They are out there but may take time to find.

From the 2014 book "BMW M3: The Complete Story" by James Taylor (link in my previous reply)

According to his data, 5,771 E92 is the number for DCT cars that came to the US. Adding the ones with manual gearbox and the Canadian exports, both sources could be close to reality. And yes, who knows how many were 2013.
Basically my heuristics to keep hope alive

Not sure where he is getting that data from. The following post shows a very complete dataset based on BMW numbers. IN any case good luck with your search!!

EDIT:: Ok, I see the 5771 number in there now. Had to dig a little further, my bad.

For sure, as they are much rarer than white cars.

I have time and remain optimistic that the right car and seller will show up.
The market is quite crazy still, but sooner or later it will do what markets always do, i.e. correct and stabilize.

And Fire Orange is of course an individual color so will command way more than $ than a white M3. 200 of the 274 E92's sold in North America were LRP models, which will command additional.

The good news is many (most?) of the LRP cars have super low miles. There's 4 on Auto Trader right now, 3 are under 30K miles like you want, but you'll pay dearly.
