6MT - Cooling question !?!

Hi guys.

Im building a Racecar in a E90 bodyshell, Im using a s65b40 v8 paired with the 6-speed manual that goes with it.

Do the MANUAL M3 e9x have any transmission cooler or any sort of heat exhanger? (I know the DCT has a separate oil cooler) - Because the transmission shell have some oil feed lines out of it, I’ll attach a picture below (red plugged holes)

Im confused lol. I even spoke to a local bmw dealer, and they were not sure And could’nt give me a propper answer.

So anybody, please help!!

it has a dedicated cooler

it may use the same cooler as the DCT model but on the 6MT there is a blockoff plate blocking most of the radiator

So can I retrofit the DCT cooler into this?

I understand, cheers bud.

So If I got this right, all the 6MT M3 E9x have some kind of cooler attached infront of the radiator as stock, and I could either pick that route or go with retro fitting a dct cooler?

The 6MT/DCT radiators are inside the passenger side air scoop of the car

This is the actual radiator
