If anyone can help out. I'm looking for this part. My hood is getting harder to open from the lever inside the car. I'm thinking it's because of these hooks under the hood. They both feel loose.

Spray your hood release with brake cleaner to clean it out real good.

Once that dries, spray PB blaster inside it.

That should make it feel better.

Those hook that you say feels loose usually are never replaced. There can be a little play on those, since they are screwed in with plastic. (That’s normal )
