Anybody have recaro sportster GT seats in their car?
Finally fed up with the high seating position in my e90 I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of CS seats when I discovered the gt series seat which I actually like the design better. Anybody have these and how do they feel? I'm 5'11, 34" waist, 190ish lbs if that matters.
Also is there a popular mount and slider combo that most use or can I pretty much go with any combo? Only requirement is it must seat lower then oem seats. Perhaps 1.5 to 2" lower would be great. https://www.google.com/search?q=eas+...c7hVGRn35Kza-M |

I have a set in my car I am 6'2 220lb waste is a 38. I fit fine. I used the BK/OE sliders. I did install small spacers but will take them out this winter to sit a tad lower.

A number of people run double-duty with these on the track with helmets with clearance.

I ran the Sportster CS for 5 years in my previous car. I'm 6' 1", 230lbs, 38in waist. They fit fine on the side, good lateral support. My gripe with them was they had really poor lumbar support and gave me lower back pain after spending more than 1 hr in them. If you're getting Sportsters, look into putting in a lumbar pad.

I'm new to aftermarket seats. So I assume removing slider means I cant forward and backward adjustments of the seat? Can you clarify? |

Correct, wouldn't recommend this if it's a purely street driven. At 5'11, you'll still have plenty of headroom.
