In total I have invested ~ $52,317.08 into this car.

I have been daily driving this car for 2 years and can say with confidence that it is at a very solid point mechanically. The interior could use some of the small plastics being replaced and maybe a new steering wheel but overall it is in really excellent shape. 8.5/10 condition for a 14 year old car that's been driven.

Rebuild of Original Motor at 55k Miles

Very shortly after purchasing this car 2 years ago, it spun a bearing. I looked at all of my options (Random replacement motor, Brand new motor from BMW, Stroker, etc.) To me the most valuable thing to do seemed to be a full proper rebuild of the original motor, so I had Miami Engines rebuild it and upgrade where we could.

Everything in the bottom end was replaced except for the crank which was fine.

- New Guibo New Rear Diff, Center Support, CV Joint Driveshaft, Fluids (Condor Bushings)
- Deflector Pulley OEM BMW
- Adjusting Pulley OEM BMW
- Intake Boot OEM
- New Belts
- Exhaust Gaskets
- New AC compressor
- Coil Pack & 02 Sensor
- Service records from BMW (One record leads me to believe the trans / clutch was replaced at 23,000 miles)

I performed proper break in procedures and oil changes every 3-5k miles. The motor has been running strong for ~17k miles so I’m very confident it was built correctly. We have been doing visual inspections on the oil (looks great) The only thing I’m missing is blackstone oil analysis (I just changed the oil and should have remembered to send a test out :/

Cons

- 1 Minor Accident reported on carfax (Available upon request)
- There's small wear on the plastics, and original wheels but otherwise this car is an absolute time capsule.
- Small Chip on front bumper

If there's one thing I learned during my ownership experience it's that having a well maintained example from a trusted seller is sometimes more valuable than a car with super low miles (With low miles you're gonna have to shell out money eventually)

The paint has its imperfections but I believe a paint correction and respray of the front bumper will give you immaculate paint. I'd say 8.5/10 condition for a 14 year old car that's been driven.

I'm looking for an enthusiast buyer who can take this build over the finish line and create the show stopper I always dreamed of having. Or just continue maintaining and restoring this amazing piece of M history.
