We do not pay it while we are overseas, but we do pay it when we register our cars upon returning back the states.

OT: I get my M3 at noon on the 29th (damn DB train can't get us there earlier). I should have a short write up and some pics by the time most of you wake up.

I see. Where I was going with this is possibly (though I figured unlikely) getting info on M-DCT GGT and whether it is lower then the 6MT GGT. But, since you won't be paying it for a long time, I guess we'll know the answer by then.
