28mm is the e93 (vert) front bar diameter I believe. Or for any e90/e92 that "upgraded"

Do you know if these fit F80 front? Hard to find definitive info

No idea. The bar is just a cylinder so if it's 28mm in diameter, you're good on that side. But is the bracket the same size and shape? Find a photo of the F80's front bar bracket and compare to e9x.

Why do you put upgraded in quotes? Is it not advisable to go with a stiffer front bar than stock? Just rear?

if you have lower spring rates, yes. With stiffer, more bar causes more understeer. But i meant it like not being an aftermarket upgrade (that yes costs more money) that's adjustable and lighter, rather the stock bar from a vert.

If you're interested, I'll let these go for cheap. I'm also a diehard Pistons fan lol. Hoping Cade comes back soon

Got it, thanks for clarifying. I got a Hotchkis bar for the front to go with my Ohlïns R&T with stock springs, makes sense in that application?

Possibly, still trying to figure out if I want poly bushings or just stock rubber. Ha, I'm not a basketball fan but always liked that logo as it is my initials.

I think so. Ohlins specc'd a fairly light front spring (343lb) for their R&T kit, so I think pairing that with a bigger bar makes sense. They went with 400lb for some reason on the e46 which is too stiff in many cases. When I went up to 400lb on my e46, I had to put the hotchkis down to the weakest option from the middle due to increased understeer.

I, too, have a hotchkis (on my e46) because their bar is hollow so a performance mod for weight too.
