Black Grill vs CF Grill

Hi guys

I am reaching my break-in period and plan to start my modification for my AW E92 M3 on Fox Red with CF roof.

I ordered the regular painted reflectors and Angel Eye modifications from RD.

I am however torn between regular matte black grill or carbon fiber grill. The price difference is quite a bit, but minute in amount (I would say $100ish difference).

Please help, thanks!

Both look good. You can only see the c/f pattern when up close. They both look the same from a distance. Personally I went for matte black

Thanks a lot!

Either one is fine but I'd go with the matte black- it looks mean. Let us know if we can help out.

I like the Matte black unless you have a CF front lip.

i got CF grills at the moment but I'm switching to Matte Black and getting $ back from the person I bought them from...my CF's developed bubbles from the CF overlay that most don't notice but I know is there...go w/ matte black...

matte black ftw! i used to think that cf grilles were the way to go, but i agree with others that the matte black grilles make the car very aggressive and mean. i'm glad i went that route.

A lot of people have painted just the outer trim body color and left the inner slabs matte black. If you're going with that route it would look pretty good. Otherwise you can just stick to matte black. Let us know if we can help out.

Very nice grill you have there, the verticle spokes are CF too ? Man I wish they make that in the US.

I really like CF because I want to get Vor Lip and Diffuser. But after seeing a lot of complains about CF getting bubble, I am holding back. Does your develop bubble?

Btw, did you get yours online? if yes, can you post the link up?

Here is the link - shipped really fast and no bubble at all. The verticals are CF and the quality is superb. Trying to get the Vo lip and diffuser as well Join the mod
