GP Thunders only alternative for whiter lights?
Hi All,
Just wondering. The GP Thunders 8500K seems rather inexpensive. I always assume that inexpensive is not so good, but still everyone seems to get those. What would be a (better) alternative for these GP Thunders? Thanks, A.

they are cheap, but seem to work just fine to me. I figured at $15 if they sucked I could just buy something else with no real loss.

I was told that 7500Ks are for Halo and M3 has Xenons, so don;t you need D1s??

Mine has the zenons too. For the halo (driving lights) my e92 coupe took the H8 12v 35w bulbs. Not sure if its different for the 4 door, but it will should tell you in the drivers handbook.
I finished fitting the 7,500k bulb a while ago, i was suprised how easy it was to change. I'm pleased by how they look when they are in the daytime running lights mode, but when you turn the main beam xenons on they go a bit yellow. It looks like they dim when you turn your xenons on which makes them turn yellow. But not a big problem. |

At this time, the GP Thunders are the best way to go. We sell hundreds of those all the time, and they look great. Even if they're inexpensive, they're the best alternative right now. The installation is very easy too. Right now, we are doing our best to get the latest product for the community--and once we do, you guys will know

However still confused: the M3 comes with Xenon lights. I was told I need the D1s instead of the 7500Ks? Can you tell me what type I need if I want whiter lights on my M3 Sedan w/Xenon lights? Thanks! A.

Another option are the Xenesis Bulbs we carry which are designed to match the OEM xenons. These would be optimal if you want a pure white output rather than the blue look.
