AwesomeM3 is taking delivery of his car right now 3pm EST, March 6th
I just got off the phone with awesomeM3. He's on his way to pick up his car right now. Is he number 2 or 3 to take delivery?

The day finally came today! I'm so releaved to finally take possession after such a long wait.
Here are some of my first impressions: The Interlagos Blue/Silver color combo pops! I love the way it looks. The IB looks very different in differents kinds of light, which most of you already know. I've only put a few miles on her so far, but the shifting feels much nicer than my E46. The exhaust...wow! From the interior, while driving, the exhaust has a very, very nice sound. It is considerably louder (but pleasant) than my E46. The ride is very comfortable, and when I was going 75mph it felt like 40! You really have to keep an eye on the speedo, seriously! By the way, DeSimone BMW received their launch car today: a Jerez Black M3 sedan. Attached are some pictures:

Awesome, do you have M3 floor mats or do they just say BMW on them?

No, they don't come with M3 floor mats, they are the regular ones that say "BMW" on the driver's side. Apparently the ///M3 floor mats aren't available yet, but when they are, my CA will give them to me.

Car looks wonderful Awesome!!
Any idea if the floormats in your car are the same dimension as those in the E46? If so I could use my old floormats. |

Good question, but I have no idea. I don't have my E46 any longer so I can't compare the mats.

I agree, but it would look better with LED tail lights (like the E46). I'm guessing that will be an addition to the '09 model.

Tail lights are an easy way to update your car on your own. Plug and play. Almost as easy as changing wheels.
