BMW Performance Shift Knob and shift boot

Hi,

I will like to know if the bmw performance shift knob and the alcantara shift boot will fit on E92 M3?

I just want to install the knob and the boot, not the short shift.

Do you have experience with the feel?

Thanks,

unfortunately it seems thay will not do the CSL, but then again they would probably send some dumber down version to us in the U.S. anyways, like last time.
I had the competition package with my e46 and two weeks after i got it i realized what a ripoff that was...

Possibly, but I imagine the gear lever and linkage is different to the gear selector rod in the M3 than the 335i and 328i.
There are two pins not just one in all the pics I've seen

One could always opt to try an AA kit or wait for all the major companies to release their kits

How about the short shift knob. Is there one avail for the M3. I had this in my 335 and really liked it.

See below thread as a reference.....

Do you have pictures of the shift knob? I think the problem is that the original M3 knob and the boot is just one piece of leather, and the performance parts replacement are the knob and the alcantara boot.

The shift knob fits but you have to do some modification on the alcantara...do a search and some guys already have done it.
