Great build so far..
Looking forward to the finished product....
May I suggest the BMW Performance steering wheel? Practically speaking, I understand the benefits of the slotted rotors as explained earlier vs. cross drilled. However, since the build is primarily for a SEMA display, AESTHETICALLY, I'd opt for the cross drilled. Personally, I'd prefer the black Brembos on the Alpine White but I realize that is highly subjective. Looking forward to the final product! |

There were a considerable amount of items that were installed in such a short amount of time, SEMA is only one of many planned event this vehicle will be displayed at. In the end, the final decision is up to the customer.

Gauge Bosses
While the car is out getting the Ericsson pieces fitted, we started on the gauge bosses for water temp and oil pressure.
A couple of pictures before cleanup:

Post SEMA pictures, final install pieces
The SEMA project returned yesterday to install the AA X-pipe which didn't make it due to time constraints. Proper coding for the RECARO seats was performed at the same time in lieu of running a Macht Schnell OC3 module since the vehicle was in our facility.
Here's a quick video of the full exhaust: And some pictures in post-SEMA form: Vehicle will be out for the next couple of weeks to fulfill some contractual agreements with sponsors and return in mid Dec for a proper photoshoot.

Though I'm not a fan of black grills, I think gloss black would look better since the rest of your black accents (mirror arms, bumpers, wheels) are gloss finish. Well, except for the vinyl roof, which really detracts from an otherwise stunning car.

Interview with KW @ SEMA
This has been on the KW YouTube channel for some time, here's an interview describing the M3 and the particular paths chosen - as well as a small discussion on the KW setup:
Car should be returning for some final work and coding soon.

Track Event - Willow Springs
For those thinking this was primarily a show queen, here's some recent pics at a track event at big Willow a short while ago:
Good to see the brakes finally being put to use.

What do the 20" advans weigh? What size rubber are you running with them? Are the RS-d's available in 19 inch?

the 19" RS-D is 21lbs up front and 22lbs in rear. The 20" version is about 1.5 lbs heavier. Tires were 245/35 up front and I believe it was 295/30 in the rear |
