Rolloface 8 Piston / 6 Piston Calipers & Lines -PRICE DROP-

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
-PRICE DROP- $1600 plus shipping down to $1500 shipping included.

Priced to sell...

This is a huge BBK - 8 Piston Front / 6 Piston Rear.

Story - I purchased these from this forum several months ago and never got to completing the kit. The intent was to purchase new rotors and pads as I don't believe in using someone else's - bit of a safety concern there. Rolloface is an American BBK manufacturer located here in So. Cal. I've met them at the last Bimmerfest, they make some quality stuff. Very responsive to e-mails as well.

I'm selling just the calipers, and the brake lines. I've reached out to Rolloface and they offered me a discount on a set of 380MM (Quantity 4) for around $1,800.

They will custom paint the rotor hats just about any color you want for that price.

These use standard AP style pads which can be purchased from just about any manufacturer.

They also offered to completely rebuild / repaint the calipers any color I wanted for around $550 (for all four!!).

This would basically give you a kit retailing for around $8k for $4500 or so. If my math is right. That was what I was going to do but now I need to put the money into another investment (as my wife puts it) so my loss your gain.

Here are photos from the original sale thread - all I've done is opened the box here and admired them.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I chose to NOT purchase the used rotors, nor would I ever do such a thing. They could be warped, cracked, measured incorrectly... Not worth the safety.

Rotors are available, new, from Rolloface here in So. Cal, for the price I said above. 380mm with custom hats.

I asked them that question after I purchased, they said "Thank you for your interest of our BBK, the link you sent to us is a very early version of our SE Series BBK."

Any clue on what's the difference between the early and later versions of the SE BBK?

Not really. You may want to ask them directly, as I said they are very responsive. One noticeable difference are the bolts that hold the caliper together look different.

Up again. This is almost an 8k brake system for around 4k in parts.
