Well my rear toe was previously just under 3/32" total at -1.8 rear camber. Then, before this season started I lowered the rear a little bit when swapping springs, enough to change the rear camber to -2.1 as shown in the before chart, and the toe-in reduced from a little under 3/32" total to a little over 1/64" total. So I imagine with the GT-250 cranking down with decent AOA, and compression in the rear for a lot of the track, the 1/64" total static toe in may have been changed to toe out.

Good. To know. I think I was remembering toe out under braking and confused it in my feeble mind. Getting old sucks, but the alternate is much worse!

Sorry for the bad pictures guys but the tires are on my car. Do you think they have another session or two left in them.

When the tread disappears on the NT01's they are at half tread life remaining. What's left is just 2 circumferential grooves and a 'slick' like tire.

There are small circular holes across the tire that are used to measure tread depth.

depends on your car, track surface, and how you drive. if my tires looked like that, i know they are going to cord very soon on the inside, no matter where they are on the car. the hole on the outside means nothing to me.
those tires would be good for another couple of 20 minute sessions on my particular car.

I've read a lot about NT01 being scary in standing water. Last trackday I ran them under rain and they were great to be honest. Fast forward to yesterday and on the drive back from the track a storm hit. Holy #$#$^. Standing water is a different beast. While doing 80 the steering wheel went light. Felt exactly like ice if you know what I mean. Zero traction, not even to change lanes. Had to put hazard blinkers on and slow down to 40 while on the left lane before I could move over.

Agreed on wear. For me the rear insides or front outsides seemed to cord first. I got the fronts to wear really evenly, so it was the rear insides that started to be the early sign.

My experience has been similar. Initially the outsides were wearing on the fronts, that was with -3.3*. Now I'm at -3.9* and front tire wear is nice and even. Rears still seem to wear the insides every so slightly more so I've debated reducing the camber in the back. What are you running for rear camber?

tsk94 My experience with the even wear up front and rear insides cording were with -3.5 front and -2.0 rear. 0 toe up front and just the tip of toe-in in the rear

When I'm having too much fun with oversteer I wear the insides of whichever rear tire is on the inside during the slides, from dragging the cambered tire across the track.

Makes sense. The last NT01 set I corded was by a friend at the end of the day. Talented drift driver who went trackboi. Was sliding my car around Laguna Seca, every corner. Fun but then we got out of the car and yup.. cords showing in both rear tires!

Those tires also like to slide. I recall turn 2, I used to be able to rotate pretty easily between the 2 apex. Now, I can't really do it easily with AR-1

You can get a set of 4 275/35/18 for $880 shipped + tax.

Guessing your $880 excludes tax? Also did you run it successfully as two transactions to apply the $100 coupon twice?

I haven’t bought this cycle but last time I did, I did 2 transactions of 2 tires each — the coupon code specifies 2 uses max.

The $880 will be before tax. Back in the day before eBay collected tax, AND the tires were cheaper, I made out like a bandit under $800 out the door shipped to my door for a set of 4 but I suspect those days are long gone.

I searched DTD’s website for any additional Nitto rebates but didn’t see anything obvious. That would be an extra bonus.

Note it works for other tires too! A052 seem to be eligible.
