yeah, I'm not surprised to find it off by a little bit but 6-7mph seemed like it was maybe a little high.

That said, I have to imagine the speed sensor has to be calibrated on some level to some kind of fixed number like tire diameter or final drive so any change should throw that off. I wouldn't think the car would just know.
Gauge is always off. You can turn on velocity speed which is much more accurate in the info cluster (activate via coding).

Mine is enabled and I did notice that it was a little closer to true speed. It was probably 2-3mph lower than my actual speedo.

As long as something reads just about correct I'm happy. I just want to go fast

Wheel speed sensors read wheel rotation, so final drive doesn't affect it. Overall rolling diameter of the wheels will affect it.

The rolling diameter of stock is 26.3".
Calculate % if that.
For example 295/30/19 is 26", hence shorter

A 275/35/19 is 26.6 hence taller ratio

both fit the rear
