1- Do you have comfort access? and are you locking the car when in the garage. 2-Do you have any charging cable or usb plugged in? 3- Do you have any device plugged to the cig lighter socket? 4- Is the weather a bit colder? 5- Do you have any led lights/dashcams installed on the car. id also try to get the car scanned and check if everything is up to date (you know the "did you try to turn it off and on again") If all fails - I would say looks like a battery issue. I am having a random clock reset and passenger side mirror not going back to the correct place, looks like I will be changing my 3 years old batt soon, The more curious thing is that my cic screen is cutting off when pushing the horn .

Failed OBDII readiness on smog test here in CA
Code screwing it up was P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor A Took a look at all 4 of them, connections and wiring all look fine but the the back two in particular were completely coated in dirt, grime, etc so cleaned them all up and hoping that resolves it. |

2K mile post RB oil change, plus a diff flush. Unfortunately, now both of my valve cover gaskets are leaking. I can't catch a break... got a quote for $1K to replace both gaskets.... that seems very high, correct? any recommendations on budget conscious ways to get refinished valve valve covers instead of risking just changing the gaskets and having the leak come back? or should I just change the gaskets?

Depending on how bad the leak is, and how OCD you are, you can also just add more oil until you want to throw the cash in. I drive a LOT and my covers are both leaking, I throw about a quart in every 1k (some is obv engine consumption, but some is obv the leak). Just waiting until I can throw as many repairs as possible under my 3rd party warranty because I have a deductible. |

Installed these Autotecknic Carbon Gils and washed it for the first time in too long.. kevin@eas hooked me up for $100 on this forum.. overall pretty happy with them.. the fit and finish takes a little work and they don't seem to snap in as well as OEM but we got there in the end..
