FS: 2008 BMW E92 M3 DCT with 21k miles, 2nd owner, Loaded, New Tires, Warranty

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Hi guys,

I decided to sell my 2008 BMW E92 M3 in pristine condition.

Mileage: 21213 miles currently.
Owners: I am 2nd owner.
Autocheck/Carfax: All clean and clear
VIN: WBSWD93528PY42540
Color: Silverstone II
Interior: Black extended leather
Transmission: DCT
Warranty: I can transfer Full Platinum Fidelity warranty for 4 years more or 55k miles (until 08/2024/64k miles) for $2k extra.
Factory options:
- Black Novillo Extended leather
- Carbon fiber leather trim
- Premium package
- Enhanced premium sound
- Carbon fiber roof
- Heated seats

Both recalls were done by BMW of Seattle.

The car located in: Kirkland, WA.

Exterior: 9/10
Interior: 10/10
Mechanically: 10/10

The car almost in perfect condition inside and outside. Looks like the first owner kept car in timebox.
The car is fully stock.

I removed 1 point from exterior since:
- the rear bumper has scratch from parking (First and last time I parked in downtown and someone left a scratch while getting out from parking spot).
Picture attached. I never repaired it since it doesn't bother me and new owner can decide either he/she want to fix or keep how it is.
- Just curbed passenger front wheel... Picture attached. A local shop can repair less than $100. Decided to keep how it is right now because maybe new owner would like to keep original wheels or get another one.

The car has all services records since car was sold to the first owner. The first owner bought car from BMW of Seattle and all services were done at the same dealership.
Just did in august oil change and brake fluid change and recently changed battery.
Tabs was reniewed and state inspection passed in july.

Also, the car has a clear bra in the front of the car, behind handles and around door edges.

I bought car in July 2018 with 14.5k miles and put almost 6k miles on it only.
Nothing wrong with the car, and never track it.
I always waited for 1+ minute after turn on the car before drive it. (Some people would say this not necessary, but hey. I love the car and babied as much as I could).

Reason for sale
: I owned before BMW Z4 and want get some similar convertible (Z4, m235i, f-type, audi tts, mb slk, mb sl, boxster or new miata)
Honestly, the car is awesome, 4 seats, sports car with high revving v8. And if I could keep 2nd sport car I would never sell this M3.

I am not in a hurry to sell it and will drive it occasionally until i sell it.

Aren't you required to list a price?

I'll give you blue book even though it's worth less since on original rod bearings.

"Worth less since on original rod bearings" You mean, 16K miles on original bearings. This is practically a new car....

I said what I meant. More a joke because no price was listed originally.

Thank you!

I love e92 m3, but not as i loved my old Z4. Which i regret selling and want to have it again.
Small nimble car is way better for me for driving in the city since i don't go to drive on the track.

For now, we are leasing Mazda CX5 for one more year as the main commuter car.
After lease end probably will pick up either BMW/Audi/Volvo Wagon or BMW/Audi/Alfa/Volvo Suv as a commuter car.
Putting my eyes for now for to lease Mazda CX-9 or to buy used Volvo XC90 as second car.

So you've had it for sale for 18 months, at the same asking price?

Wow, didn't realize the first post was done in January 2019 (car had 16k miles).
I posted car as feeler for $38900 and back in January couple forum members PMed and were interested, but decided to keep until end of summer 2019.

After summer I decided to sell it and I updated the listing (car had 19k miles) and listed car for sell for $36900.
Edited listing, dropped price and updated latest mileage every couple month.

I like the car and honestly not sure yet with what I will replace it yet so wasn't in rush to sell it.
