2009 LCI E90 - Passenger Taillight Flicker/Tail lamp Error
I searched through many threads.. I couldn't find anything definitive to find out the best DIY fix. My passenger side taillight has some LEDs out, doesn't the flicker on lock, plus triggers the rapid turn signal error. What is the exact best part replacement (and from where) online that I can do that will be cheaper than the $400+ I have been quoted to replace it? I assume this is related to the defect where the earlier LCIs corrode or something... but I just can't get a straight answer on what exact part to buy that will match the other side and be best for cost.
thanks in advance! |

I had this recently, you need to replace the whole unit unfortunately.
I believe this is the part - https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ht-63217289430 |

https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...et-63214871753 I'd say go for it. They're OEM lights, if you want to be 100% certain order from getbmwparts.com , its all the same thing, I guess a lot of other places don't realize how cheap these lights have gotten now.

Ultimately its your choice if you want to spend an extra $100 for aesthetics, otherwise just get the $106 set, oh and remember when installing them again to clean the surface on the body.

I'll send you a PM in a bit showing something neat you could also do.
