24 now, and will be 25 by the time the 135i is out in 2008. It'll be my first major purchase since I joined the working force after graduation.

I will be 22 when purchasing the 135i and will be buying it as a graduation/commissioning present for myself before going off to undergraduate pilot training (UPT) for the Air Force.

I'm not no steenking Boomer. I'm a War Baby, born during The War (don't ask which one!) but I've been into small fast cars since I was a kid.

As a former Advertising/marketing guy I'm interested in Demographics. I'm not the least surprised that there's a lot of interest among 20-30 Somethings in 1 Addicts, after all they are cool, exciting cars.

I suspect most of the actual buyers will fall into the 35-55 age groups based on the projected price points. When I was ypounger I passed up many chances to buy a 2002 or 320i because I just couldn't quite swing it.

If I had it to do over I'd buy a nice used...oops!..pre-owned one.

Food for thought.

Hello, all. I'm 24. I'm a 135i hopefull I figure I'll be snagging one in about 2 years. Never owned a BMW but I've always lusted after them. I'm a car / bike guy. I like speed and class and small cars. So for me the 135i is perfect.

I feel old now, but when I got a new '99 M3, I was only 25. You'll be glad you are when you have to pay your insurance. My insurance was 1/3 the cost when I turned that age.

Wink Eeek! I'm old enough to be your mom....

Nice to see the age demographics. I've always had fun cars, so why not the new 135....?

Wow!! I'm surprised to see what a young crowd we have here..
I think we should start a thread/poll, to see what age demographic is actually buying this car?
I'm 31 years old and I have been saving my $$ for a long time to buy this car. With options, I'm into it for about 47K of which I'm financing 27-28k. The more I think about it, I think I might be cutting it close as far as $$"S go. I wonder how the younger demographic is going to swing it!

Im 27 and Im financing with about 10-12K down, I have a great job and havent had a car payment for a while so I dont mind much getting into a payment again for a car like this. I always told myself my next car would be a BMW and I definitely I plan on keeping this car

I think younger crowds are more into online forums than anyone else. I have a few friends in their 30s that also join online groups while the people I know in their 20s practically live online.
