Check out the Borla Cat-backs. Two types of sound Touring and Aggressive, plus a little weight savings. They're a fraction of the cost since they're not imported.

http://www.turnermotorsport.com

I have aggressive, but it's a deep-bass loud, not obnoxious. Borla's got a lot of experience with V8's here in the US market.

Have fun and good luck.

I love the Meisterschaft. You can pick up good deals on ebay sometimes. The only hang up with modded oem is the puny tips you're still left with.

I have them listed as an option on the website, and I always suggest them just for an easier installation

I used to have to get Eisenmann connecting pipes for the Remus exhaust, but now that Remus has their own, it's a perfect set up!

I think it takes 2-4 months of driving with a particular exhaust to get a true reflection of whether you like an exhaust or not.

I fitted a Miltek which sounded great to start with, but 2 months later I didn't like it. Same with the Akra Evo that I fitted next. It sounded fantastic for a few weeks, then I was too embarrassed to drive it, so it came straight off.

Now I'm back to stock with secondary cats removed. It's been like this for nearly a year now and I'm still happy with the sound. I am considering the BMW performance muffler now though. I just need to hear one in person.

I'm not sure how the OEM works, and no one seems to help me on it. Looks like I'll pick an aggressive corsa or borla system.

OP, I have had the UUC Corsa for awhile now...still very happy with it...good value...looks much much better if you paint the tips/cans black...very minimal drone which 90% of other exhausts cannot say....has nice euro pitched sound.

1st link shows pic of cans ceramic coated black.
